So today in the midwest we had a little blizzard and some thunder snow and you would think civilization is coming to an end. At the food coop yesterday people were buying food like it was going out of style. Now don't get me wrong it gave me an awesome opportunity to get some practice in, the food is local or organic so I am glad it is supporting a lot of my values, but seemed really silly to me. I mean this is the midwest we should be use to snow. With what I have in my house I could survive probably about a week or more and I am guessing I keep less food on hand than most people.
