Had a fantastic shopping trip this morning! Went to the farmers market and got some amazing things, no packaging, and great deals:
-Purple cabbage 3/$10

-Onions 3/$10
-Hot peppers 15/$1
-Jalapenos 20/$2
-Eggs $4
Then it was off to the PFC! Where all but the coffee and yeast were local!

Heavy Cream $9.69 including deposit (normally I get the small one, but they were out. I will make butter and buttermilk out of it)
Waste wise I have a bag from the spelt flour. I didn't realize that my coop sold any local flours and I went for it. Also, because I realized I could make some localish bread, I bought some yeast. So happy right now.
